Position Summary:

CRS are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Sleep and Respiratory Physician to join our established practice. You will join our team of Sleep and Respiratory Physicians in our busy and growing WA practices. You will benefit from a well-established referral network, with an immediate referral base and full clinics. Working within an established practice presents a genuine opportunity for candidates to focus on building a fulfilling career in sleep and respiratory medicine, without the added stress or strain of establishing a solo practice.

What is the arrangement?

CRS specialists enjoy a collaborative relationship with the organisation. CRS provide a wide array of administrative and support services, including practice management, marketing, use of sessional rooms, administrative support, bookings, billing, and debtor management.  Other financial arrangements can be explored for the appropriate candidate(s).

As a CRS associated specialist, you will benefit from access to four private inpatient sleep laboratories, a comprehensive respiratory testing laboratory with diagnostic testing across our clinics, including five body plethysmography boxes. Your practice will be supported by a team of dedicated CPAP technologists, respiratory scientists, as well as a specialised in-house sleep dental service providing custom-made mandibular advancement splints and a clinical psychology service.

CRS will assist in obtaining credentialling for Hollywood Private Hospital (WA’s largest private hospital with 860 beds), where you will be able to admit patients and perform diagnostic and interventional procedures such as bronchoscopy and EBUS.

You will benefit from immediately full clinics, with dedicated administrative, clinical and marketing support to assist you in establishing and growing your private practice.

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians including subspecialty training and recognition in Sleep and/or Respiratory medicine.
  • Eligible for a Medicare Provider Number for the provision of specialist services
  • Demonstrated experience in the assessment and management of respiratory and sleep disorders
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
