CIS Group is a leading Australian healthcare provider specialising in cardiovascular, respiratory, cardiometabolic and sleep health services.
Company History
Cardio Vascular Services (CVS) was established in 1997 at Hollywood Private Hospital by Dr Philip Currie, an internationally recognised leader in Echocardiology. Today, CVS has grown into a highly collaborative team of cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and subspecialists dedicated to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred cardiovascular care.
We believe that patients receive the best outcomes when all relevant specialties work together. That’s why our services have continued to expand in line with emerging clinical evidence. As research highlighted the strong link between sleep‑disordered breathing and cardiovascular disease, we introduced Cardio Respiratory Sleep (CRS) to integrate the support of experienced sleep and respiratory physicians.
More recently, recognising the important relationship between metabolic health and heart disease, we developed Cardio Metabolic Services (CMS). Together, CVS, CRS and CMS offer an integrated pathway—supporting patients and referrers with coordinated diagnostic services, specialist assessment, and comprehensive treatment options.
